Do you like to mix styles ? What different styles do you think would look good together ?
I think I am over the whole 'matching furniture etc' days and so anything can go really. Plus, not everyone's home will be in some fancy magazine so if we want to do something odd with furniture, art or whatever WHO is going to know.
I Love to mix! I truly believe that the present/future of the interior decor is the mix of styles and ages. I do it as well in my house and I love it :)
Absolutely - it's all about a great mix. I love shiny with rough, high with low, antique furniture with modern lighting. And that image knocks my socks (flip flops) off!
Yes, I like to mix styles. I think a piece makes much more of a statement when it's paired with a completely different piece. For example, I love the look of a glamourous crystal chandelier against an exposed brick wall or above a rough wood dining table.
I love the mix of styles in the picture you posted - the artwork and table look great together :-)

I really like to see amazing mixtures of clean & modern with older & ornate. One of my favorites is this kitchen.
Exactly what japanese trash said, it makes a home more interesting I think.
