God’s Waiting Room

To introduce his new Moon chair, Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka filled Moroso’s showroom with mist and light. I love the chair and I love the idea of the backlit mist in the presentation, like a 4D movie theatre. Some might think it is eerie, I think it looks surreal, and will definitely create an “experience”. Now, whether people will enjoy it or not, I don't know.

Makes me think you would feel 'floaty' when sitting on them...great presentation and a really pretty sculptural chair.

Interesting chair made more interesting with the presentation. Coincidence, we both posted about chairs- opposite ends of the design spectrum! To bad you lost out on the Thonets- are they popular in your area? Here you can go to just about any decent antique show and find them although not always the originals.
